Please message us with a little bio of yourself, what brings you joy in life, what your experience and sense of community living is and any needs/desires/wishes/limits regarding community and land based living. Otherwise we won't be able to consider your message. Thanks :)

We are looking for people to join our emerging communal houseshare for a year until Feb 2026 (potentially longer, with potential Co-housing future)

We are Mungo and Kat, we are partners and both in our 30s, and with passion for growing food/agroecology, somatic body work, Nature Connection, Contact Improvisation Dance, the Way of Council, fermenting food and home baked sourdough bread, making music and singing folky harmonies, Celtic Fire Festivals...

We are looking for kind, communicative, curious, open and willing people to join our small intentional, budding community. We have two rooms available (rent between £450-650 per month) and a parking spot for a van/tiny house/ yurt (£250 per months). Ideally you have experience of community living, like sharing food, and try to tread lightly on the earth. It is essential that you are proactive in your communication, and are willing to engage with difficult conversation if necessary. There are opportunities for joining in with the food growing, or having your own little plot, or graze some animals.

We live in a large 7-bed room house with 27acres of land around us, several outbuildings (including a cinema cabin), and a large kitchen garden area plus fields and woodland. The house itself has very spacious communal rooms, including a living room with wood burner, conservatory hang out area, open plan kitchen, studio for meditating/dancing/council/yoga/bodywork, cabin studio space, cinema cabin. The outdoor space include, kitchen garden, ceremonial tree circle, workshop areas, barn, orchard, pasture, and a bluebell/wild garlic/ wood anemone woodland. Our nearest town is Northwich. Our local train stations are Hartford or Greenbank, with good public transport links to Liverpool (30 mins), Manchester (60 mins), and Crewe (15 mins).

Kat has recently moved here from the South, having lived in community like house shares for all her adult life. She is head of food growing, SEN teacher, women's circle facilitator, food lover, community gatherer, explorer of sacred land connection, dancer, and song carrier. Mungo has lived here the last 8 years with different constellations of people. He is a body worker, vision quest guide, poet, somatic explorer , contact improvisation addict, folk song lover, ceremony bringer.

Whilst we are figuring out what to do with house and land, we are committed to being here for a year (until February 2026) and, if things turn out fruitful and we have a feeling of landing, expanding and connection to the local community, and good solid plans to create a co-housing set up or something similar, then we will stay here longer term, maybe raise a family here. So we are also open to explore living with another family. The house is currently one large shared dwelling, but one of the idea is to create 2-3 smaller sub-units to everyone could have their own front door. We have not yet created a model and structure of ownership and the house is currently owned by Mungo and his (non-resident) sister. So there is a lot happening in terms of visioning, exploring, experimenting and you could be part of these conversations as much or little as you want.
