Double room + balcony in sea view flat 3 month let

This is a listing for a double bedroom with a balcony and sea view in a great location (2 mins walk from town centre, 15 mins walk from beaches). The flat is on the top floor (third floor) of a building with two other flats. The flat has two floors with living, dining, kitchen, study and bathroom on the first floor and two bedrooms upstairs. The double bedroom for rent has its own private balcony and there is also a larger garden/terrace balcony on the first floor.

This is a short term let from beginning of August to end of October for 800 a month. I would be willing to do just a month but I might raise the price for this. This is including all bills.

I will be away for about 7 weeks of the total 3 months so you will have the flat to yourself for this time - this is reflected in the price of the room. I am away for the whole of September, 2 weeks in August and a week or 2 in October.

For this reason I’m looking for someone who is respectful and tidy and will keep the place lovely while I am gone :) also someone who is not having tons of people over etc. and someone who won’t have a partner over most nights and run up the cost of bills. I have a ton of plants so it would be great if this person is good with house plants too ! If not that is okay too as I can always send a friend round to water them. Someone who is clean and respectful and tidy and responsible would be grand.

I am a PhD student in my final year so mostly I will just be in the study writing up my thesis on the days when I am there (which won’t be a lot as I mentioned). When I’m away feel free to use the study whenever! My PhD is in marine conservation and I love to swim and dive at the beaches close by. On the evenings and weekends I like crafting , film nights, going outside for hikes and swims , and having a lil pint at the pub. I tend to go to bed pretty early on the weeknights and get up early for gym so people who are up late and loud might not be best mix!

The room has eaves storage with large boxes in for your things , there are also a couple of beside table with drawers and a desk. I also have a wardrobe that I can assemble if you’d like it - or may get a standing wardrobe that will fit in the corner.

I have cutlery pots and pans etc. and bedding and everything so don’t feel you have to bring too much !
