My house is up a private lane near Swanpool lake and beach. It is a new build on three levels with a pretty garden and parking.

You would share with me, a retired study skills tutor. I like to keep my mind active and am currently studying for Italian A level. I already speak Spanish, French and some Portuguese. I enjoy discussing current affairs, am interested in the Arts and like international films.

I'm looking for a lodger with whom I can happily co-exist. Ideally (from experience of former lodgers) someone who is emotionally self-sufficient, is engaged in their studies and leads a busy life. I prefer also someone with feminist sensibilities.

We would share the kitchen, the dining area, the study and the living room - although the latter counts as a quiet area as it's where I study and read. You could use the next-door study room with a TV and desk for watching TV, or studying and reading yourself, if you preferred.

Your bedroom has two single beds which can be moved together to make a super king-size bed. There is ample wardrobe space and a small desk and chair. Next door is your own bathroom with a bath and shower over.
