Double room in vegan creekside home

The available room is on the groundfloor with garden view on the banks of Penpol Creek. This is my home but I would like it to be yours too for how ever long you share this fabulous place with us (me and the dogs). You must like dogs as they share the house and garden and are not restricted.

Potential housemates will preferably be happy in their own space and respectful of mine. I will respect your privacy and expect you to do the same in return.

There is a shared bathroom and toilet which will mostly be for your use but which will have some use by me during the day especially for showering after a swim etc and also on the fairly infrequent occasions when I have other guests. The shared washing machine is also in this downstairs bathroom.

The house is on the Old Tram Road which runs along the banks of the creek and in common with most similarly sited houses here is 'upside down' with the main living accommodation being upstairs to take advantage of the lovely creek views. Upstairs there is the kitchen and large open plan living room/dining area.

Included with the room is use of the kitchen area - although I am happy to provide fridge and microwave/air fryer in the room if preferred. Food in the house is vegan only. While I am open to discussion of most things, this is non-negotiable. I do not allow any animal based foodstuffs of any description in the house.

Penpol is a quiet community with easy access to Truro by bike or car. For those who prefer to walk there are frequent buses to both Truro and Falmouth from Carnon Downs 1 mile or Devoran 1.5 miles away.
Penpol Creek is a branch of Restronguet Creek and is sheltered place in which to kayak, swim, sail, or walk. There are two good pubs nearby - both about 1 mile - the Punchbowl and Ladle at Penelewey and the Old Quay at Devoran. The Pandora Inn at Restronguet Passage is a fabulous 20 minute paddle by kayak when the tide is right.
