Bright room in artist's house on leafy road

Bright west-facing room in artist’s handsome Edwardian house, on leafy road in Redruth. Five minute walk to the centre of town, ten minute walk to the railway station.
I am a visual artist (sculpture at Lost Gardens of Heligan), theatre maker (Kneehigh, WildWorks, Scary Little Girls), formerly Artistic Director of the Eden Project, now working on new Edens for Morecambe and Dundee. I am looking for genial housemates to share my beautiful house. Previous guests have stayed between one and three years.
As well as your room you would have use of large comfortable lounge with TV (Netflix, Prime, BFI, iPlayer etc), study with superfast broadband, printer and large arts library, airy studio/meeting room, fully equipped workshop with wood-burner, kitchen/dining room/conservatory, cosy living room with solid-fuel Rayburn, wetroom shower, bathroom with huge cast iron bath, sunny rear garden and off-road parking space.
Three cats live here too. I have an allotment nearby which you are very welcome to help me with, (should you enjoy growing things) and eat its produce.
Redruth is a vibrant town with a lively arts community. Recent investment has seen the development of Cornwall’s archive, Kresen Kernow, Krowji Artists Studios at the old grammar school, and a number of enticing new restaurants and bars – the Buttermarket, Coopers Wine Bar, Cowgirls and the revived Rose Cottage (complete with sauna, steam room and hot tub!) There is a six-screen cinema in town.
The house is close to wonderful walking and cycling country – Carn Brea, Carn Marth and the Great Flat Lode mining trails. The closest beach is Portreath, just over four miles away.
Omnivore preferred. We often cook for each other.
