The room comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV. The house is a comfortable cottage with period features, a modern kitchen, main bathroom and separate shower room, with full use of the washing machine, tumble dryer and other shared facilities.

£525 per calendar month, including household bills and Wi-Fi.

This is a relaxed, friendly and peaceful home rather than a busy shared house. I'm looking for someone in full-time employment who is easygoing, clean, tidy, respectful and reliable, and who will treat the property as their home while respecting each other's privacy and space.

The household is alcohol-free. Social drinking away from the house isn't an issue, but this isn't a party house, so I'm looking for someone who appreciates a peaceful home and won't be coming home regularly drunk or disruptive.

I have a cat, so you'll need to be comfortable around animals.

Smokers are welcome, but there is strictly no smoking in the bedroom. Smoking is fine in the garden or conservatory.
