Hi everyone! I’m a graduate student at Queen’s seeking another student or young professional to move into a fully-furnished double room in my three-bed house, available in August. Rent is £500/month, with utilities (WiFi, heating, and electricity) averaging out to an additional £65/person/month.
The room is bright and cozy, with a comfortable double bed (storage underneath), large dresser, clothing storage system, and nightstand. There is also a desk available, which is currently downstairs in the dining room but could easily be moved. Other features of the house include a large bathroom (with a walk-in shower and separate bath tub), back patio and garden, shared living room, and kitchen with plenty of cabinet space. All areas of the house are well-presented and taken care of. The neighborhood is clean and quiet, with Queen’s University, a Tesco Superstore, and the City Hospital train station all just a ten-minute walk away.
A bit about myself: as mentioned above, I’m a PhD student at Queen’s. When I’m not studying, some of my hobbies include singing in a community choir, reading, and going on very long walks around town; I also occasionally enjoy hosting board game or movie nights for my friends, although I’m generally more of a morning person (not the annoying kind though, I promise).
Please reach out if you’re interested in the room! I look forward to meeting my next housemate :)
