It is presently occupied by three students; Available to anyone who has no drink or drug problems or hanger-on; ideal for quiet and gentle homeless person needed for fresh start. Both the kitchen and bathroom are shared. Parking space is available.

The location and other amenities

The house is 10-minutes away (by bus) from Durham University and 15-minutes away from Durham city centre. The bus stand is just opposite the house. As a university student, you will have a student discount for bus travel. You can board Arriva X12, 58, and 56 (bus) for Durham. X12 to Newcastle
A supermarket (coop), salon shops, a Chinese take-away, a community centre, medical stores and a dental hospital, GP (clinic), library and the church are within 2-minutes walking distance. Bowburn is a quiet rural area with nice surroundings for relaxing chill-out walks. You will have easy access to public parks, schools and a local football ground. Compared to the town centre, Bowburn is considerably less costly to live in!

Terms you need to know
1 month's rent as a returnable deposit (£140), providing the room is maintained to condition upon entry. Rent to be paid at the beginning of the month, you need to pay the rent in the first week itself. The rent does not include:- council tax, electricity and broadband bills.
3 months advance notice prior to termination of the tenancy. A student looking for a long-term contract will be preferred.
