The house is set in a quiet residential square, excellent location for the city of Durham and conveniently near the university sites.

The room has a private bathroom, study desk, draws and storage, double bed with new mattress. Bedding can be requested if needed. The room has individual security lock.
There is a large open plan kitchen, dining room with communal sitting area. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry and pantry space. Productive back garden with sitting areas weather permitting.
There is free parking around the square and outside the house. Sadly, no storage facilities for bikes, but there is a leafy footpath walk downhill into Durham city that takes 15- 20 minutes.
The house has an eco-friendly policy with green electric, personable, and Scandinavian style.
The house was running for seven years as a bed and breakfast. Franny Keay’s B&B but due to the covid virus it is closing for now and have decided to take two lodgers for one more year until international travel really opens and is safe for everyone.
