The room

Furnished room to rent in a quiet, tidy LGBT+-friendly house (EPC B) in Gilesgate with parking space and all bills included. Sharing with a part-time working postgraduate student. Ideal for postgraduate students. Located a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop for buses into Durham city centre, 10min walk to the big shops in Dragonsville, 2 minute walk from post office, and a handful of takeaways are dangerously close.

You’d be sharing the communal areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom, downstairs toilet, garden) with me. I’m a part-time PhD student in Durham’s Archaeology dept. I often work from home, though I have a part-time job in one of the shops on the nearby industrial estate and pop to the science site on a frequent basis. I like to maintain a clean and tidy space, (it’s easier to do little and often than the alternative!), so looking for someone who can treat the space respectfully.

Otherwise, my interests include museums, spending time in nature, cooking, hiking, and cycling (sadly a lot less time for the latter 2 lately).
