The house
You'll be sharing a clean, well-maintained home with a spacious kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge.
One of the biggest advantages of living here is that I spend extended periods overseas, particularly during the winter months. During those times you'll effectively have the house to yourself while I remain easily contactable if needed

The location
If you enjoy nature, you'll love living here.
Ancient woodland and scenic walking trails are just a three-minute walk from the house.

Despite the peaceful surroundings, everything you need is close by:
• University Hospital North Durham – 8 minutes by car (3.3 miles)
• Durham City Centre – 12 minutes (4.1 miles)
• Bus stop – 2 minutes' walk with services every 20 minutes
• Two supermarkets, GP surgery, post office, pharmacy and local shops all within less than a 10 minute walk.

The village has a friendly community and I've always found it to be a safe place to live.

About the home
This is a quiet, respectful household rather than a party house.
I'm looking for someone who is considerate, tidy and values a peaceful home environment.

I'd especially welcome enquiries from NHS staff, academics, mature students or professionals, although anyone who feels they'd be a good fit is very welcome to get in touch.

Rent
£625 per month (all bills included) for stays of 12 months or longer.
£650 per month (all bills included) for shorter stays.
A longer stay is preferred, but I'm happy to discuss shorter lets with the right person.
