We are a very welcoming family with a miniature Dachshund called Reggie. We are looking for guests who are easy to get along with and who will respect our home and private space. Ideally Mon- Fri occupancy but will not sub let at the weekends so you can leave clothing etc in the accommodation at your convenience. All bills / council tax, WiFi access included in the rate. Use of washing machine / dryer is by separate negotiation at additional cost due to operating expenses. £50 security deposit, refunded at end of tenancy subject to no damage. Key will be provided so access to your accommodation is 24/7.
Location is 5 min from the train station which has direct line to Carlisle and Workington / Whitehaven.
Cockermouth can be reached in 10 mins & Keswick is 20 mins. Workington / Lilleyhall are 15 mins away. The main Carlisle road runs through the village with Carlisle a 20 min drive away. There is a Co- Op, Spar, Fish & Chips, Pizza/ Kebab and chinese takeaway along with a petrol station and several pubs & cafes. The main supermarkets, Sainsbury’s, Lidl & Aldi are located in Cockermouth with lots of restaurants / pubs. A Tesco/ Morrisons superstore in Workington along with a large retail park. The village is very quiet with lovely surroundings and the coastal villages of Allonby & Silloth a 10 minute drive away. Lovely views of the Solway / Scotland can be had while strolling the promenade with ice cream / pubs/ restaurants in both places.
