Hi I have a double room to let either short or longer term letting .
7 day letting or Monday to Friday considered .
The available room is a large Double with a King size bed.

I would ideally like to have a longer term let but if you are searching for something short-term please contact me to discuss options .
A 5 day stay a week ie Monday to Friday will have a reduced rent.
The Room is simply furnished and will be freshened up with a lick of paint soon.

This is a quiet professional household.

Shared bathroom with both bath and shower . Gas central heating and woodburners to kitchen diner and sitting room BT broadband . Full use of kitchen dining area and sitting room.
I will require sole use of the sitting room at times

As I will be working from home the study will not be available

Good hot water supply for a great pick you up shower .

Most bills included excepting logs for woodburners as the volume used may vary depending on use of fires

Communal purse for Milk Tea Coffee Washing Powder and toilet rolls.
(If you wish to buy your own that's fine )

I am looking for someone who is quiet easy going and polite who will appreciate the history of my home .
It dates back to 1811. must be a Non smoker . If you enjoy music and dancing and laughter youll fit right in
. Please be mindful that this is not a vegetarian household.

You will be responsible for ensuring your room is cleaned regularly along with shared cleaning to communal areas or a contribution towards employing a cleaner .

Dish washer and Washing machine are available .You will have an allocated kitchen cupboard and shelf to fridge .Loft storage available if required . Please be reminded my home insurance will not cover your items.

My home is undergoing some decorative work but is by no means a building site .I am generally repainting each room .

There is a garden but this is not attached to the house and is a work in progress any budding landscape gardeners?

Shap itself is a linear village just 2 miles from the M6 it has 3 pubs a cafe , a shop hairdresser swimming pool , bowls club tennis courts and football field .There is a yoga teacher in the village.

Shap is on the doorstep of some great walking, and cycling routes C2C coast to coast and John o Groats Lands end .

Ten miles south of Penrith and 16 Miles north of Kendal .
Lancaster and Carlisle are approx 35 to 50 minutes away .Preston is about 1 hour .
