Spare room for working professional

THE ROOM:
Furnished bedroom with kingsize bed (that can also stow away to make a single bed instead), bedside table, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe storage. West facing with views out to the Lake District fells. Not suitable for a home worker.

THE HOUSE:
The house is located in the centre of Shap, 100m from A6, 2mins walk from Coop and the central amenities. It is situated with views over the Lake District fells. The house is light and airy, with modern and homely touches. I like to keep it clean and tidy, but still comfy and relaxing.

You will have access to shared bathroom (with overbath shower), shared kitchen/dining room, shared lounge with sofas and TV, shared laundry room with washer and dryer. Shared lawned garden and sun terrace with outdoor seating.
Bike storage available in garage if required. Off-road parking included.
No linen, towels or kitchen utensils provided.
All bills included - fibre wifi, electricity (house has solar PV with battery storage), gas, water, council tax. No TV Licence. Fortnightly cleaner for all shared spaces.

Please note, over weekends when you are not staying your room may be used if I have family/friends staying. I will provide bedding for this purpose, and you are free to leave your belongings in the room.

THE HOUSEHOLD
I (Emma) am an engineer and work mostly from home.
I love the mountains and the outdoors, and enjoying getting out running, mountain biking, paddling, swimming, rock climbing and hill walking. I love painting, sewing, crafting and working on my allotment.

YOU:
You are an outdoor-loving, friendly and considerate female aged 21-35years old who is looking for accommodation during (generally) Mon-Fri. You are likely working in the area on one of the ongoing infrastructure projects and would like a relaxed, quiet place to cook and rest after a hard days work.

Full time, week or weekend only stays are considered to fit around work your patterns. Not suitable for night shift workers or those that work from home.
