Large, beautifully decorated and furnished king-size-bedded bedroom with en-suite bathroom, in large Victorian house, is available to let FREE OF CHARGE for 1 month ONLY from 24th August to 24th September 2025 (normally £662 per calendar month including all utility bills and council tax) in return for pet-sitting 3 small/medium dogs for 2 weeks. Additional months may be available at usual rental rate depending on room availability.

Applicant must work from home or be retired and be able to give companionship to dogs day and night so must be a dog lover.

The elegant Victorian house is situated within a few minutes walking distance of Corkickle train station, in a conservation area close to bus stops and approximately 8 minutes walk to shops, town and harbour. Located on the south side of the town, away from the town centre, it is ideal for commute to the hospital, West Lakes and Sellafield. Off street parking is available.

The bedroom and en-suite bathroom have been refurbished to a high standard, Bedroom has smart tv, clothes storage facilities, tea and coffee making equipment.. The en-suite consists of shower, loo and sink with touch-screen mirror.

The house has good hi-speed broadband connection. Hot water is available 24/7.

The property is fitted with industry-standard fire alarm system with smoke and heat detectors in every room. Smoking is strictly prohibited although this is allowed in the garden.

Two other female lodgers currently shares use of kitchen, dining room/lounge and cosy lounge with log burner. Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, double oven, washer/dryer and microwave with use of crockery, cutlery etc..
