Large bright double room available in my quiet home with unrestricted on-road parking, patio & garden, bathroom, kitchen, and living room in central Buxton, Derbyshire. Suitable for a professional or student on a work placement, doctoral researcher, or visiting scholar needing short-medium term accommodation in a calm and studious household 5-mins walk to the train station (with regular trains to Manchester) and to the beautiful town centre.

I'm a female academic working at home (on separate floor) and in Milton Keynes. I travel frequently and speak English, Italian, and French. The room has become available since my son left for university.

Length of stay, move-in date, and 5-7-day week are negotiable for the right person. I will consider genuine enquiries only, i. e., ones that are clearly compatible with what I'm offering and that provide trustworthy information about who you are, including relevant details of why you are looking to live in Buxton. I will need reliable references.
