Furnished double room in large, non-smoking house close to the centre of Chesterfield.

All bills and council tax are included - as is a weekly clean of the house (but not the lodgers individual rooms). We also provide household basics (no one wants 3 bottles of washing-up liquid in the cupboard).

The kitchen is well-equipped with a wide array of utensils, a 5-burner range cooker with double oven. As such, we best suit people who don't have a lot of household "stuff".

The house looks characteful, but is up-to-date. We have superfast mesh wifi and Sonos music system. There is also a very nice terraced outside area which is a very welcoming social space. There is a home gym in the basement with dumbells, bench press, and TRX ropes - though this also can function as a laundry. We also have a piano which reflects the musical interests of some of the residents.

The drive has space for 2 cars - but we already have 2 cars in the house so some on-street parking will be necessary. There is also an Type 2 EV charging point for electric cars.

In addition to the owner occupiers there is a friendly and chilled husky that shares the house (pictured). She is very quiet and seldom makes any noise at all. She's certainly no guard dog.

The house is over 2,000 sq/ft across 4 floors - so even outside your room there is always a spot you can be on your own.

We're looking for a friendly person to share the house with - not just occupy a room.
