This room is in a shared house with two other people and is in a magnificent rural location for anyone wishing to get back to nature. Buckland in the Moor is a unique hamlet 3 miles from Ashburton and the A38 but situated at 950 ft above sea level with views south out across the Dart river valley, 4,000 acres of forest and across to the high Moor beyhond. With Buckland Beacon behind the house and the Dart river at the bottom of the hill it is an excellent spot for the nature lover, walker or mountain biker.. A very large double room 5m by 3m with windows either end and an en suite toilet and basin. Introverted and emotionally self contained people would do best here as immediate entertainment is hard to find. The house has an Aga, double glazing and wood burner. Parking is for one vechile only and guest parking is by arrangement. A suberb granite dartmoor country cottage with all modern features with a large room in this shared house which can be used as a sitting room / study as it is so spacious. Looking for someone who is a land worker locally. We have a 27 acre smallholding next to the cottage with x14 sheep and x10 pigs. I'm looking for someone who could help manage sheep and pigs and in general help out especially if I'm away. An interest in farming, livestock management and practical self sufficient living would be very attractive as some help but also indicates resonant attitudes and interest. The good life.
