A beautifully presented, fully furnished double room available in a modern, well-maintained home just a short walk from Derriford Hospital – ideal for a working professional.

One of the biggest benefits of this room is that the house will be empty for the majority of the time. My partner and I both work away, so you’ll typically have the house to yourself, giving you far more privacy than most house shares.

The room is available from 17th August 2026 on a monthly rolling contract.

Living Arrangements

As mentioned, the house is usually empty as we work away. We would only normally be home for around one weekend each month and occasionally for a week or so during leave periods (such as Easter, summer or Christmas).

While you’re welcome to use all shared areas of the house during the vast majority of the time, when we are home we would like to use the living room and garden ourselves. We will always give plenty of notice before returning.

We also have a friendly spaniel, who will only be here when we are.

Rent

* £750 per calendar month
* All bills included
* One month’s rent payable upfront
* £250 refundable security deposit
* Monthly rolling contract
* Guarantor may be required

Before the tenancy begins, I’ll need to carry out some standard checks. These include proof of identity, proof of employment/income (last three payslips). A guarantor may be required who will be asked to sign the tenancy agreement
