Double Bedroom near RD&E and DCC

Hi! I’m 23 and have just moved to Exeter. I’m gay (if that matters) and a young professional working for Torbay Council in Adult Social Care Commissioning, usually working from home two to three days a week. I’m looking for someone friendly and easy-going to share my home with. It’s just me and my British Longhair cat. He’s fluffy, somewhat relaxed, and loves a bit of attention.

The room is a nice double in a modern townhouse located between DCC and the RD&E, so it’s perfect if you work or study nearby. The house is Council Tax Band D and there is a small garden plus a green area directly in front, great for a bit of outdoor time. There is a fully equipped kitchen and I am happy to share pans etc. as long as you clean them after use.

There isn’t a dedicated private bathroom, but there’s one right next to the room that would pretty much be yours unless I have guests.
It’s a parking permit area, and there is still one available for the address. The rent is £750 pcm, utilities included, plus a £50 council tax contribution due to loss of single occupancy rate.

I’m ideally looking for someone aged 21–35, a young professional or postgrad student who’s up for living in a relaxed, sociable home. No gender preference, just someone kind, tidy, and happy to hang out now and then. Bonus points if you’re up for exploring Exeter or grabbing a drink.

Smoking/vaping is okay in the garden.
