One bedroom sanctuary in the heart of Exeter

Beautiful one bedroom flat available as a short-term let (initially for 6 weeks from 9th May, potentially longer for the right person). Rent is 1200/month with all bills included and the flat is fully equipped with kitchen appliances, cookware etc.

Each room - bedroom, open plan kitchen/living room and bathroom (with bathtub) - has a large window that lets in natural light, with the summery garden visible from the bedroom and living room. The courtyard opens out onto leafy Bartholomew Terrace square, but from within the courtyard the flat feels peaceful and far from the noise of the centre of town - despite being just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral, 6min from the Quayside by river Exe, and just off Fore Street.

I have loved living here for the past two years as a sanctuary in which to finish my PhD. Now adventure calls me away for this summer and would love to offer this beautiful space to somebody similarly looking for a calm zone to thrive.

I have an electric standing desk with dual monitor setup and ergonomic chair that you will be welcome to use during your stay. It is an ideal space for homeworking and studying.

You will also be welcome to browse through the book collection. If you are interested in psychology, psychedelic research, myths and philosophy there might be something that piques your interest. The reading armchair is an ideal spot to immerse yourself.

So if you're looking for a party house, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a comfortable, clean and bright base from which to enjoy Exeter, I'd love to hear from you
