Room in friendly flat on the Quay

We are two friends looking for a third housemate to join us in our lovely friendly flat on the quay! The room will be available from 17th August.

Current housemates:
Amy: working full time
Abby: final year PhD student
We've lived here for 2 & 3 years respectively, and absolutely love the place.

We're happy to accept either a young professional or a PhD student. We cook and watch TV together most nights, we're a fairly sociable flat but we don't drink much or stay up late. We like baking, iced lattes, arts & crafts (sorry if every surface is covered in glue!), hiking, camping, board games, mario party, and very minimal gardening on our balcony!

Looking for a housemate who wants to actually live here and make it home, not just a place to crash. We keep our house pretty tidy and clean. You're always welcome to have visitors for a weekend or week at a time - it's your home!!

The room is rented unfurnished, but previous housemates have left plenty of stuff. Bring your own crockery and cookware though!

It's a small-ish room but there's space in the living room and a huge storage space upstairs. Bike storage downstairs.

Room comes with the following:
Bed
Mattress (although it's not great so you may want to replace it)
Desk (without drawers)
Desk chair
Clothes rail

Bathroom is shared between two.

Rent: £616.67
Council tax (for working professionals): Band D, would be approx. £90/month per person
Broadband: included in rent
Water, gas and electricity: approx. £50/month

Parking: its complicated. You can get a parking permit for Zone K, but there's no spaces on our road and parking elsewhere seems pretty busy. If in doubt, we'd recommend not, but do your own research.
