The bedroom

The flat is situated in the Whipton area of Exeter. There is easy access to Middlemoor and Sandygate for commuters, decent parking availability, and a selection of nearby supermarkets. It's a great location for professionals and walking distance for the Met Office, but students may find themselves a bit far from the campus.
Walking to the city centre takes roughly 50 minutes. But there are buses!

The video is a few years old, and while things have moved around a bit, the fundamentals are the same.

The room itself is 10'10 x 10'6, so plenty of space, with a double bed, a single wardrobe, desk and drawers. It receives sunlight in the morning for those who like a gentle wake up with a view over the lawn.

The living room is 16'7 x 11'4 with access to a small balcony, which is where the afternoon sunlight comes in and is a very pleasant place to sit.

Aside from the kitchen and bathroom, there is also a utility with washing machine, dryer and freezer, and an untended stretch of grass out the rear of the property that was once a lawn -with communal washing lines, and a shed for storage.

About me:
I work full time as well as running my own private therapy business, and doing some volunteer hours. Both my jobs are social, so at home I often need quiet time to myself. Equally, sometimes it's nice to share a chat and a cup of tea.
Mine is a quiet household.

Since we will be living together, it's important to find someone compatible. I'd rather take the time and find someone lovely; so I'm interested in you as a person.
So while I know it's my flat, I inherently dislike unequal relationships and am not looking to be the boss of you. I have responsibility for the maintenance of the flat itself, but otherwise, my expectation is that you're an adult. I won't pick up after you, and you don't need to pick up after me.

My interests incline towards the nerdy and I spend time at my computer or reading. I own home weights to exercise with, and I go for walks and swims.

I'm looking for a generally quiet lodger because my cat can be nervous of Goings On. When she gets to know you she is a noisy, demanding little bossy-boots.
There is a cat tax to pay; this kitty loves her fishing rod and will ask you to play with her. She also enjoys when we hang out in the living room to chat.
