Double Room Available For Respectful Housemate

This house is our safe space and we’re looking for someone who appreciates that.

Available 1st Nov 2025 - couples welcomed but there will be an extra fee of £300 for two people. Theres lots of storage space around the house if you have more stuff than would fit in your room.

Working professional preferred, no kids can move in, although weekend visits are fine.

We have a dog who is here most of the time.

Your room will be unfurnished.

We’re looking for a down to earth and honest person or people to join our respectful and slightly nerdy household.

You must clean up after yourself and be addiction free (drug and alcohol) We aren’t super strict, just be easy to live with. i. e. empty the washing machine when done and wipe sides when you make a mess (normal considerate house sharing things)

We have a shared craft space, many books you can peruse, netflix and amazon prime on a 50 inch TV in the communal lounge.

The room is big enough for a king size bed, wardrobe, drawers and a desk.

Smokers/vapers not a dealbreaker but you will need to smoke outside in the garden. (not by backdoor) Bring a dog/cat if you have one and it’s well behaved/quiet.

Parking - A shared driveway is usable with some car shuffling every so often.

£575 is all inclusive for the room, bills and also includes loo roll and washing tabs for laundry.

The house isn’t show-home clean, it is loved and lived in.

We play board games together and can be sociable but also respect each others space.

Honiton is a nice town with lots of locally owned shops and a train station only 10 mins walk from the house.

Exeter is a 10-20 minute drive depending on traffic and the beach is just 20mins away.
