Lodger for Double Room in Shared Seaside Apartment

I am looking for a friendly, calm lodger to share my sunny seaside apartment in Ilfracombe.

You will have your own double bedroom and share the lovely lounge, kitchen & bathroom with me. I will be living & working away most of the time, but will be here a a week a month for work & the odd weekend. Therefore, you will have space to enjoy the apartment to yourself alot of the time.

I call the apartment "the peaceful seaside penthouse". Its a top floor flat with stunning sea views from the kitchen. It is on the high street, so it is very convenient for shops and also the gorgeous harbour, local beaches & coastal paths. There is no parking outside, but free parking 3 mins walk away, where I always park.

The apartment has been home to myself & my 14 year old son, but are moving to Bristol from start September, as he is going to college. Therefore, I will keep my double bedroom as our space when we are here (as described above).

All bills are included in the price, apart from gas which is on affordable key meter to top-up as you use it.

I am a decorator and will paint the double room a neutral, warm tone and furnish it with a double bed, chest of drawers & hanging rail for your arrival 🙂 (At the moment we are still packing up the room ready for move late August).

It would be great to find a lodger for 6 months to a year, starting from September, but we can chat dates etc as there is flexibility. The most important thing to me is finding a kind, quiet person who will look after & enjoy a cosy, happy and comfortable time, so we can both feel at home here.
