A lovely furnished double room available in our 3-bedroom home, with shared living spaces and a private garden backing directly onto Occombe Woods.

The house is in a quiet area but within easy driving distance of Paignton, Torquay, Torbay Hospital, Totnes and Newton Abbot.

The house includes:
- 2 bathrooms – you’ll have a shared bathroom next to the bedroom, which you’ll have almost exclusive use of. It may be used if we have the occasional guests, or very occasionally by us, but we mainly use our ensuite.
- Comfortable lounge and dining area
- Kitchen
- Bright garden room
- Private garden backing onto woodland
- Direct access to local woodland walks

There are some lovely walks from the house, including through the woods to Greendale Farm Shop & Café (15–20 mins), Cockington Country Park (45–60 mins) and Preston Beach (around 30 mins).

Parking: There is no private driveway parking, but there is ample free street parking directly outside the house.

Location: The house is quiet and well-connected by road, although public transport is limited. Nearby:
- 5–10 mins drive to Paignton, Torquay and Torbay Hospital.
- 10–15 mins drive to Totnes and Newton Abbot.
- 5–10 mins drive to the beach – great for sea swimming, paddle boarding and the occasional surf!

About us: We’re a friendly couple (26 & 28), both working in the public sector. Jamie works shifts, while Jo works 9–5 Monday–Friday and also teach yoga and Pilates locally.

We love fitness, the outdoors, travelling, camping, hiking, paddle boarding and sea swimming.

We bought the house in January 2025 and, although we still have a few decorating projects underway, it’s a homely and comfortable place to live.

We also have a very friendly dog (almost 1½ years old), so you’ll need to be comfortable living with a dog 🐶.
