Hi, I’m Abiella (36), and I work freelance in events, photography and production. I live in a cosy, colourful Edwardian townhouse in Stonehouse with Erris (28), who works for Great Western Railway and runs a small business, and Zahra (24), who is a painter and archivist at The Box Museum.
We’re looking for someone friendly to join our creative, sociable household.

The house is located in central Plymouth, just a 3-minute walk from the train station.

The Room:
We have a furnished double room available for £560 per month, including all bills and fast Wi-Fi. The room comes with a double bed, mattress, bedside table and two built-in storage cupboards. It is currently painted a warm orange - this could be changed by the new tenanct if desired.

Short stays may be considered, so feel free to get in touch if you’re looking for something more flexible.

The House:
• Shared kitchen, dining room and living room
• Garage and courtyard
• Two indoor shower rooms and an outdoor toilet (three toilets in total)
• Large fridge and freezer, with decent shared storage space
• On-street parking available with a resident permit (approximately £65 per year)
• Washing machine

We try to live as sustainably as possible, including sourcing our cleaning products from local refill shop Jar. We all do our part to keep the house tidy, clean and comfortable for everyone. We really want the house to feel like a home and not a student house so we keep on top of those essentials.

Smoking is outside only, we have a no-smoking policy inside the house.

A Little About Us:

Were a house of women who want a calm, fun and positive home, we love sharing meals and hosting dinner parties. We’re mostly vegetarian and welcoming of all diets, although a household where meat isn’t cooked excessively would suit us best.

The atmosphere is relaxed and sociable, while everyone respects each other’s privacy and downtime. We’re not a big party house, but we enjoy the occasional get-together or celebration.

Our interests include live music, art, photography, theatre, cooking, camping and swimming. We’re often out enjoying outdoor adventures, so it’s a home that balances socialising with independent pursuits.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re hoping to find a friendly, considerate professional who enjoys a sociable home, creative interests and getting outdoors. Ideally, you’ll be aged around 25–45 and looking for a place that feels welcoming and homely, rather than just somewhere to sleep.

We’d also consider a friendly cat, provided it would be happy in a sociable shared house.
