The house

Small bedroom available
• Located in Staverton, approximately 15 minutes from Totnes
• 10-minute walk to a beautiful river and woodland for swimming and walks
• Local pub nearby
• (reflected in the price)
• Shared living room, conservatory, guest cabin, and large garden with a veggie patch
• Fireplace in the living room
• Attic storage available
• A dog lives here part-time
• Potential for rent reduction or flexibility in exchange for gardening, maintenance, or decorating
• House is fully furnished, so ideally you’ll have minimal possessions

About you
• Ideally female, mid-20s to 40s
• Not working from home full-time
• Tidy, considerate, and happy to help keep shared spaces clean
• Independent, enjoys the occasional shared meal or house activity
• Happy to contribute an hour a month of garden care from time to time
• Looking to stay for at least 6 months
• Open to a home with meditation, somatic practices, embodiment, playfulness, nature, and entrepreneurialism
• Values transparent communication and occasional house check-ins
• Ideally has minimal belongings, as the house is fully furnished

About us
Three housemates: Finley, Tim, and Lula, plus Nivan (our friend and landlord), who comes and goes to use the music studio on the property.

House vibe
• Open to occasional shared evenings (meditation, films, clowning, etc.)
• Weekdays are generally quieter, with consideration around noise, as the house isn’t very soundproof and some housemates are early risers
• A friendly, respectful balance of community and personal space

A car is recommended, as buses are infrequent.
