Spacious Ground Floor ensuite room in Topsham

Hello,

I have a spacious ground floor double sized room, currently furnished with a single bed for maximum space in the room.

My current lodger is leaving on 26th September. I have a double guest room at the top of the house which I could potentially rent to the right person, until the ground floor room is free.

The room has an ensuite shower and private access door from the yard at the back of the house. There is a small garden at the front.

The house is end of terrace Victorian (Council Tax Band E) in the centre of Topsham, a few mins walk to Topsham train station on the Exeter - Exmouth line, close to all amenities and on the stunning Route 2 cycle path along the estuary to Exeter and Exmouth.

My 16 year old son lives with me half the time so in the evening after 10pm it's generally quiet in the house.

This is a family house in a very close neighbourhood. I would prefer a female lodger and would need to meet anyone in person to make the right choice for our home. We are a friendly and inclusive household, with a wide variety of friends and are fluent french speakers.

There are two small kitchens, it is not ultra modern but needs to be kept clean and respectful of shared living, we can work out a system to give each other space to cook, preferably not someone who is cooking several times a day.

Topsham is a popular tourist town with pubs, shops, river activities, summer food festivals etc and a vibrant community with lots of activities happening throughout the year.

I work in dance and education, working from home when not working away.

The room would suit a working professional who is out to work or a mature student working on site at the University at least 70% of the time and is understanding of shared living. Ideally someone who is not seeking long term accommodation, who values quiet and who wants to make the most of what this area has to offer.
