Room in Central Totnes Family Home

I have a small room with small double bed available in my home from the beginning of December, initially for three months with the possibility of staying on.

The room itself is compact but has plenty of storage, and there’s plenty of space to spread out with a lovely large kitchen-diner, a sitting room with a burner, and gardens at the front and back. The house is on three levels with distinct zones for a sense of privacy. It’s about five minutes’ walk to the train station and handy for buses and the town centre.

I’ll be around for the first couple of weeks or so, then away travelling for around three months, so you’ll have the house largely to yourself. My son has his own room at the top of the house and may be back from uni now and then. My daughter will pop in occasionally to pick up post, and there’ll be someone local you can contact if anything comes up.

If you’d like access to a vehicle while I’m away, there may also be the option to rent my BMW 1 series or SWB Transit van separately.

I’m looking for someone tidy and considerate who’ll feel at home here and look after the place while I’m away. I’m planning viewings for the second or third week of November. If it sounds like a good fit, drop me a message with a bit about yourself and when you’d like to move in.
