Spacious home in Dartmoor Village

Seeking community-minded individuals to share my lovely home in Walkhampton.

Please read this ad fully before contacting me. I do not have the capacity to respond to hundreds of messages that only say 'Is this available' or 'I want the room, will move in on Monday'. With respect, this is my home and it matters to me who I live with, so I ask you to think carefully about whether this is a good fit for you and for me also.
Please note that a car/ good bike (and strong muscles) would be important for living here - there's no shop in the village, no easy bus to town, big hills.

About the house:

Big garden, good sized sitting room and kitchen, wood-burning stove. The house has a solar and battery set-up and will soon have new double glazing installed. Some renovation ongoing so a degree of flexibility required please.

The garden still has some building stuff in it which I will clear in time. Theres scope for a veggie garden, fruit trees, flowerbeds etc, though at the minute just grass and shrubs.

Cracking views of nearby tors, local moorland 5mins walk away. 6 min drive to Burrator Reservoir.

I'm looking for people who are:

About me:

I'm a 37 year old woman, work variably as a healer, storyteller, events organiser as well as a few other things. I love the outdoors, a good dance and seeing friends. I love to cook and laughter is important to me 🙂
