Low Rent for Care Package of Retired Gent

We are looking for a caring, mature, calm female lodger to reside with and offer company, care and support to our friend, now in his latter years and suffering from early onset of Alzheimer's.

He is a lovely, helpful and once active and fun-loving gentleman who thrived on meeting people, dancing and the joys of life. Sadly, he's had some cognitive decline but still shows regular signs of his former self. He can manage most tasks independently, bathing, washing and dressing but does occasionally have some confusion that requires a level of patience and explanation, mostly around his keys, phone and daily meds.

He desperately wants to remain in his own home, with a level of independence. He does have family within a 10 mile radius who visit regularly and oversee important matters such as doctors appointments and financial matters. They now feel he would benefit from good regular company, someone to lend a caring hand with overseeing daily meds, regular cooking, cleaning, shopping and some ironing.

He has a lovely garden and anyone wishing to grow their own produce could utilise this for much better use or assist in keeping it tidy and attractive.

This would ideally suit a semi or fully retired, more mature lady although we would consider other options, if you feel that you could assist in any way and are looking for good quality accommodation, in a family size home in Wyke Regis area of Weymouth
