Double room in rural village - £500 pcm

I have a double room for rent, in a cottage in a quiet village and rural setting about 10 miles NW of Dumfries.

The village is well positioned for rural and country walks but also further travelling. There is a bus in the village connecting to Lockerbie and Lochmaben with further bus links to Dumfries. Lockerbie is only a few miles away with easy train links to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Carlisle and Manchester.

I have lived and studied abroad and so understand how challenging it can be to find flexible accommodation for short term renting, and happy to offer the room for those moving to the region and need some flexibility.

I work hybrid, so sometimes at home and sometimes away. I have 2 cats, and there's parking available for another car if needed.

I'm fairly quiet at home, pottering about. Home is where I can relax so I enjoy just chilling out mostly. I've travelled a lot, and enjoy meeting and learning from people.

The room has just been decorated and comes with a brand new bed with memory foam mattress and a desk and chair. I also have a clothing rail if needed.
