Our lovely lodger who has been with us for 16 months is moving on at the end of May, therefore we have available, a large double sized bedroom for single occupancy on first floor with a private ensuite shower and toilet for lodger's sole use. There is also a well equipped kitchenette on the ground floor for our lodger's sole use.
Lodgers are always asked for references, but we notice that Landlords never are, so there are a few words from a previous lodger included at end of page- which hopefully provides reassurance for potential lodgers!
This is the spacious main bedroom of the house (around 12' x 15' or 3.65m x 4.57m). WiFi and all other energy bills included.
An attractive room which would suit a non smoking/non vaping professional person. It faces west so gets all afternoon and evening sun. The ensuite shower room is accessed from here.
The photos show the room before our current lodger moved in as he is still in residence. There have been one or two small changes in furnishings (e. g the fridge is no longer there) but otherwise is much the same.
Our home is a quiet, light, non-smoking/non-vaping 4 bedroom detached house in a pleasant residential road in West Bexhill. Easy access to main line station (Collington) (15 minute walk) and bus routes. We are 20 minutes walk from the sea (5 minutes by car).
The room can be modified to suit an individual's preferences as needed (Single bed, wardrobe, table/desk, dresser, and seating are provided).
The kitchenette is on the ground floor. Combination microwave, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, cooking utensils (if needed), kettle and cupboards are provided. Use of washing machine and separate sink. Our lodger's response to this set up has been very positive. Access to our attractive, large garden.
Owners dog (well behaved - picture attached) has run of house though not the lodger's room - applicants must like dogs.
On street parking is easily available.
We live on site and are a sociable yet quiet couple who are also conscious of our Lodger's needs for 'their own space'.
We have one other long term lodger in the property, who has his own accommodation and facilities.
Two references would be required from current employer and current landlord as well as proof of identity, financial status and right to live and work in the UK.
