Lovely sunny double room available in a beautiful house in the Hanover area of Brighton (Lewes Rd/Elm Grove).

The room is 10m2 and furnished with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, clothes rail, desk, blinds, lamp, and mirror.

The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely park at the end of the road. It’s a peaceful, tidy home with an open fire, a decked garden area, and all mod cons.

You’ll have use of all shared spaces: kitchen, bathroom, lounge, dining room, and garden.

Rent includes all bills (gas, electricity, water, council tax, and Wi‑Fi) plus a cleaner.

The house is a 12-minute walk from Brighton Station, close to universities, shops on Lewes Road, and plenty of great cafés and pubs in the Hanover area.

I have one cat, Midnight, who is very gentle and respectful. I work for an international charity and travel frequently for work so I’d be looking for someone who would be happy to feed him while I’m away (I also have a cat sitter when needed).

Unfortunately not suitable for:

• People who work from home

The room would best suit a cat-loving, female professional who doesn’t work from home.

The moving-in date can be flexible.
