Unfurnished Single Room in Central Brighton – Available 3 August

We’re looking for a flatmate to join our two-bedroom flat in Bedford Square, Brighton. We’d prefer someone who is queer, female, or non-binary.

The lovely double room has plenty of natural light and is available from 3 August. The room is unfurnished, while the rest of the flat is fully furnished (though we can make space if you have your own living room furniture). The photo shows a king bed in the room which fits easily. Our current flatmate is also selling their double bed and bed frame if you’re interested.

The flat has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen with a washing machine. We also have shared kitchen essentials, but you’re welcome to bring your own too.

Location: Bedford Square – just 1 minute from the beach and directly opposite the Waitrose bus stop. We’re right in the heart of Brighton, close to shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and transport links.

Rent: £520 per month, plus bills and council tax.
Deposit: £520
Council Tax Band B: £55.74 per month each

We’re a couple: Grace (22 she/her), an NHS GP receptionist, and Maria (26 she/her), a dental receptionist. We’re friendly and social and enjoy spending time together, whether that’s cooking a meal, heading to the pub, hiking, relaxing on the beach, or trying something new around Brighton. We also respect each other’s space and enjoy quiet downtime when needed.

We’re hoping to find someone who wants more than just a room and is interested in being part of the household.

Pets are welcome.

Our guest policy is pretty relaxed – you’re welcome to have whoever you like round, we just ask for a heads up beforehand so nobody is surprised. We also ask that things aren’t very loud late on weeknights out of consideration for everyone in the flat.

You’ll need to be added to the tenancy agreement and pass the landlord’s referencing process through Goodlord. With the main requirement that you can prove you can afford the rent through your job or through savings.
