I’m looking for someone to replace my current housemate, who is moving out. The move-in date is flexible and can be anytime between August and September.

This is a bit different from your average room rental, as you’ll have two private rooms to yourself. One is a spacious bedroom with built-in wardrobes, and the second has a small cupboard and is ideal as a home office, lounge, dressing room or hobby space – perfect if you work from home or just appreciate having a bit more room.

The house has:

* A shared kitchen.
* A good-sized bathroom with both a bath and shower.
* A lovely garden with a seating area, plus another seating area above the steps leading down to the garden.
* A relaxed, homely feel.

The location is brilliant – just by The Joker in central Brighton, around 15 minutes’ walk to Brighton Station and 5 minutes to London Road Station, with plenty of great pubs, cafés and parks nearby.

A bit about me:

I absolutely love this house and would really like to find someone who’ll enjoy living here as much as I do.

I’m pretty easy-going. In the summer I’ll occasionally have friends round for a drink in the garden, enjoy going to the pub, and love running, long walks, being outdoors and the odd wild swim. During the week I’m usually fairly quiet, often in bed by 9 with a book and I’m equally happy spending time on my own.

It would be great to find someone with similar interests, whether that’s sport, music, the outdoors, or just settling down to watch a good TV series. That said, I’m also looking for someone who has their own life and values having a comfortable, relaxed home to come back to.

I’m always happy to share the occasional film night too, I have a lounge area in my room that you’re welcome to join me in if you fancy some company, but I also completely respect each other’s space.

Rent is £1,300 per calendar month for both rooms.
