Our communal house is looking for a new roommate to join us!
Unfurnished double room in a maisonette
💰 Rent £662 - with bills at current prices £775.07 - No deposit required
📍Between Ditchling Road and London Road - 15 minute walk to Brighton Station - 9 minute walk to London Road Station
🗓 Move in 22nd October - Currently two housemates aged 31 & 35
We have a room coming available in our home and are looking for a friendly new flatmate to join us.
We are two working professionals, aged 31 and 35, and enjoy cooking, watching movies, or heading to the local pub. Our home has a relaxed, friendly vibe. We love a chat or a shared drink in the evenings but completely respect everyone’s need for quiet time and personal space
About you:
We’re looking for a clean, reliable, and friendly person who fits right into our lifestyle. Great if you are vegan, but not essential. We’d love someone who enjoys hanging out, but who also values their own downtime. Being organised with splitting bills and happy to help with chores and house admin.
The House
3 bedroom maisonette, communal living space, kitchen, and a bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. Kitchen includes shared fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker/hob
Between Ditchling Road and London Road - 15 minute walk to Brighton Station - 9 minute walk to London Road Station - Close to Aldi and Sainsbury's.
The room:
An unfurnished double bedroom on the ground floor of maisonette
The housemates:
Christy: 31 (he/him). Working professional. Pretty active lifestyle and enjoy time outdoors exploring new places. I enjoy live music, and writing my own stuff. I enjoy being social and catching up with friends.
Josh: 35 (he/him). Working professional (sometimes in office sometimes home). Sociable, but enjoy own space. Enjoys trying new things. Enjoy cooking, reading, music, outdoors and the pub!
Now and then we both enjoy hanging out and cooking together (not a requirement).
A quick note on tenancy requirements:
The landlord does have a couple of requirements for anyone joining the tenancy. You’ll need to earn at least 2.5× your share of the annual rent, and have a UK homeowner guarantor who earns 3× your share of the annual rent.
There’s also an application and referencing process with the landlord, and if everything goes through, we’ll all need to sign a new tenancy/guarantor agreement.
Just worth mentioning upfront so there are no surprises
