Large, distinctive room in bohemian Victorian home. It’s on the ground floor, with a lockable sliding door and a real sense of cosy privacy. The main living space is upstairs, and the bedrooms are on the upper floors.

The room has underfloor heating, a king bed, a comfortable armchair, a large TV integrated into a built-in cabinetry, a fridge and microwave, and beautiful fitted plywood cupboards and shelving. There’s plenty of storage, some of which can be cleared if you’d prefer to bring your own things. we have a large wild garden.

A shared wet room is nearby, and on the same floor, which will be used primarily by the lodger, though household members may also need to use it.

I’m an artist and currently work from home. One of my children is a filmmaker and the other a musician, and our current lodger works with South East Dance. We’re a creative household and would especially welcome someone creative, or with an interest in the arts, who is considerate and enjoys a relaxed, respectful home.

We have a cat, Pip, and love animals. I also occasionally host film shoots at home and would discuss any dates with you in advance.
