Downstairs includes : the living room, a practical good size kitchen with dining area that can easily seat 8 with sliding doors leading to the back garden. Upstairs is made of the 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub and toilets.
We are in a close street so quiet, peaceful, safe and with a good neighbourhood, free parking,
5 min walk to bus stop with good service (5 5a 5b 47 55 night bus N5), couple of minutes drive to access the A27.
Short walking distance to Tesco, Coop, Waitrose, pub, pharmacies, petrol station or the Downs if you fancy country walks and bike ride out of Brighton. ( devil dyke is only 3 or 4 miles away ).
The room is a small double room, furnished or unfurnished (double bed and furniture can be stored in the attic if not needed). The landing area outside the room also double as extra storage space with a large chest of drawer and shelving unit.
Rent is £400 per month + bills (usually between 90 to 100 each per month depending on utility bills), good fibre optic for internet connection.
Ideally we are looking for someone in the same age bracket but could consider others.
We do not have any preference regarding gender/sexual orientation/identity.
The house is smoke free inside, ok to smoke in the garden , Vegetarian/fruitarian/vegan/pescatarian and omnivore are all welcome.
Owner of well behaved cat will also be considered, the back doors to the garden are already fitted with cat flap); We had pet in the past and are open to have some again!
A little about us: we are two working professional , Jenny is English and working as a support worker for the nhs, helping guiding and counselling youngsters and me, Ben, a french restaurant owner. We are in our thirties, open minded, respectful and trustworthy. Some of our hobbies includes : walking, reading, movies, eating, playing board games, cooking, sharing conversation, gym, chilling in the garden in summer, drinking natural wine; we are both health-oriented while still enjoying good things in life.
We are past our “party animals days” and although we do still go out once in a while we are pretty quiet people at home. The respect of each other privacy and comfort is important while still enjoying good time together.
