I have two lovely double rooms in a Victorian terraced house close to Hastings Town, the West Hill and Ore Train Station. Rear room window overlooks garden and Ore valley.
Front room window looks towards the sea (partial sea view).
Room comes with shared use of our private garden, large luxurious family bathroom with double shower, large roll top bath and WC. Also shared use of the open plan sitting and dining room (dining table seats 6), a large kitchen with dishwasher and double range cooker, and an additional separate WC on the ground floor.
No immediate parking due to yellow lines, but there is always plenty of space in the nearby streets.
WiFi, Gas, Electricity, Water are all included.
Council tax band is C.
Separate food storage in kitchen will be provided.
Room is furnished with large double wardrobe, occasional table, and double bed. Bed arrangement can be adjusted according to requirements (e. g. Can have 2 single beds instead).
Would suit someone looking for an 'in-between home' if you're in the process of moving in the short term.
I am a single father with two children (daughter 17, son 13) who spend some of their time with me in the house.
I split my time between Hastings and Buckinghamshire, usually in Hastings every other weekend and some days in the week, so there will be chunks of time when you have the house more or less to yourself.
I am a creative person wfm in group travel arranging performing arts trips.
I have a cat and can not accommodate any further pets.
Non-smoking inside household. Would suit professional person, someone friendly and sociable but also appreciates the need for privacy.
Rear room (smaller):
£750 for a single person, £850 for a couple.
Front room (larger):
£800 for a single person, £900 for a couple.
