Room with view over downs

Hi,

We are looking for a new housemate for 4-5 months. It's a nice homely house on a quiet street in a pretty nice area. We are chilled and friendly but also like to give people their own space to live and do their own thing. Kat's a doing a full time Masters degree and works at the uni and I'm a self employed Landscaper. Outside of work we like to keep busy with gym/ Yoga/ Cooking/ Reading and all the usual stuff. We are straightforward, respectful people, we are pretty tidy and like to keep the place clean. Like to have a good laugh but during the week we tend to be in bed by about 10/ 10:30ish as both have early starts.

The house itself is one of those typical solidly built old post war council houses. As such it has a nice big front and back garden including several patio areas/ sheds/ workshops that I've built. Just finished a nature pond, which has taken me a month of Sunday's.
The main house I've done it up quite a bit since moving in as it needed modernising so put in a new modern bathroom with mains pressure water/ new boiler/new flooring n' carpets/ log burner and other nice features etc.

Decoration wise it's got a bit of a hippy/ arty vibe going on now, minus the incense sticks. We're not proper card carrying hippies. We just like to plant trees in our spare time for our charity and Kat's a vegetarian. Speaking of which we also have an actual cat; Pebble, who's currently doing what cat's generally do, lounging in her cat basket after a long day of slumber. She's 14, which is 98 in their years, apparently, she doesn't look a day over 39 in any case. She's very chill and is a human friendly cat. She simply likes to be fussed over as all animals do occasionally and given food so that she doesn't leave us for someone down the rd better equipped. We don't require that you love cat's to live here but hope that you at least love animals, if not there's probably something seriously wrong with you anyway.

The house has all the modern conveniences that money can buy; Dishwasher, washing m/c, tumble dryer, microwave oven, an actual oven, gas hobs X4, tv (Virgin media/ Superfast Broadband) , double glazing, log burner, radio, dehumidifiers, combi boiler, solar power, bath, shower and we have multiple sinks and toilets. Any yes the house bills are included in the price, it's an all inclusive deal of a lifetime.

The room itself is downstairs, it's a spacious single room with a great view, it has a beautiful view of the sunset over the downs. There is a toilet/ sink room inside and the main bathroom is upstairs. The room is currently furnished with two sets of shelves with draws, and basic sofa bed and a large wall shelf. You may prefer a single bed (Or even a standard double as the previous person had in here) in which case I would remove this sofa bed as required.

Ideally looking for a professional, low maintenance type, no preference of male/ female. Hopefully that's you and you've not wasted your time getting down this far...
