Single Room in a 3-bed flat in Hove

Hi!

We have a single room going in a ~fabulous~ flat in a really lovely, quiet part of Hove, which will be available from May 23rd.

You would be sharing the flat with Chelsea and Elina - plus Balthazar, Chelsea’s goofy little Siamese cat who loves to cuddle!

We’re both creative people and love all things arty, especially music, and we go to gigs together as often as we can. We also both love (veggie/vegan) food, cooking, and trying out different restaurants in town.

The flat is located in a great spot in the Aldrington/Westbourne area, just south of Portland Road which is a small high street with a bunch of cafes and shops. The neighbourhood is so lovely and peaceful, but it also has really good bus and train connections to town. It’s also a 10 min walk from the beach, 10 mins from Aldrington train station and 10 mins from the massive Tesco on Church Rd.

The room comes unfurnished apart from a single bed, which can be replaced. As it’s the smallest room in the flat, you would also be getting the two wardrobes in our hallway to yourself. Our landlord also has spare furniture to borrow for the duration of the tenancy if needed.

There are two bathrooms in the flat, a big cozy living room with a dining/work space, and a good sized kitchen with a washing machine.

We’re both professionals (working partially from home) and would prefer another professional just because of council tax.

The rent is excluding bills, which come to about £150 in the winter with current energy rates, less in the summer. We have a private landlord who lives next door and is always super friendly and helpful with everything.

p. p. s. Deposit is actually £576, as it’s split evenly three ways, but the rent is not, so Spareroom won’t accept that sum.
