Double room to rent in creative cosy flat

I’m currently looking for a new housemate in my 2 bed flat in west hove No couples and no pets (sorry!)

About the flat…

The flat is a lovely cosy, plant filled ground floor flat with French doors out onto a shared garden space, close to Portland road and boundary road shops and 10 mins away from aldrington and portslade train stations, both direct lines to Brighton and London. There are also bus stops right outside the estate and bike shelters to lock and store bikes.

The cost of the room is 730 per month which includes council tax (band B), water and broadband. The only additional cost would be for electric - the property has no gas.

A bit about me…

I’m 29, work mon-fri term time in music events in a school in brighton (sometimes WFH) and am also a singer-songwriter. There are many guitars strewn around the flat and I tend to write and play at home, at socially acceptable hours of course. I enjoy all things creative and embodied like walking/hiking, yoga, all kinds of dance and sea swimming, finding new music, I love to cook, and am interested in psychotherapy and gender studies too.

I like to keep a super calm, tidy and cosy home, and am not much of a party gal (anymore) but do enjoy the occasional pub trip or gig. Sleep is super important to me so I really appreciate peace and quiet in the evenings, especially on weekdays! I would be looking for a housemate with a similar working/sleeping pattern.

I am always happy to have a cup of tea, shared meal or movie with housemates, but equally value my own time and respect others’ alone time too.
