Hey! I’m Jenni 😊
I’m an Interior Architecture student living in a lovely Victorian apartment in central Hove. Currently advertising the room as my gorgeous housemate is relocating for work 🥹
The room is fully furnished, and you’ll have your own fridge/freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for day-to-day cooking, and there’s also a washer-dryer.
The location is amazing—just a 2-minute walk from the seafront and 3 minutes from Church Road, with shops, cafés, restaurants, and great bus links right on the doorstep.
The apartment is on the top floor of the building, which makes it feel really peaceful, bright, and cosy, with lovely neighbours too. Being on the top floor does mean there are a few flights of stairs, but it’s well worth it for the quiet atmosphere.
The building also benefits from a communal garden and secure bicycle storage.
👤 Ideal Housemate
I’m looking for someone who is respectful, clean, and considerate. I enjoy socialising and having a chat at home, but I also value my own space, so I’m looking for someone who’s independent, easy-going, and has a good balance between socialising and downtime.
I love going out for food, drinks, and music but this isn’t a party flat. It’s a calm, cosy, and comfortable home, so I’d love to find someone with a similar lifestyle.
As the room is a small double, it isn’t suitable for working from home full-time. I’m ideally looking for someone who spends some of their day out, whether that’s at work, university, or elsewhere, so we can both enjoy a good balance of privacy and have the space to ourselves at times.
🌿 A Bit About Me
I’m an Interior Architecture student, and I also work, so I’m out quite a lot during the week. I also spend some weekends away with family and friends, so the flat is often nice and quiet.
I can be a little OCD when it comes to cleaning, but I’m not overbearing about it. I’m a considerate person and always prefer to have open conversations about what works best for the person I’m living with. I know everyone has different habits and routines, and I respect that. I value privacy, personal space, and clear boundaries, while also enjoying a friendly chat and a good laugh.
I’m into music, cooking, and art, and I love keeping the flat feeling like a warm, cosy place to come home to. I’m pretty laid-back, a little goofy, and easy to get along with, so I’m hoping to find someone who’ll enjoy sharing a comfortable and respectful home.
