Double room

Double room available in a flat in Hove for 3 months.

The flat is shared with me and my two cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with cats. I work in London twice a week and from home three days a week. My work-from-home setup is in the front room, so I use that space during the working day.

The flat has a kitchen with a cooker and the usual facilities, as well as a balcony. The properly is just off Portland road in Hove and is a 10 min walk to Portslade station and 2 minute walk to 2, 46 and 49 bustop.

Double bedroom is occupied and does NOT include a bed. Although I can include two bedside tables and a 6 drawer chest of drawers and a large mirror.

I’m quite a homebody and spend a lot of time at home with my cats. At weekends I’ll usually go out for dinner or spend time with friends. I rarely have guests over and would ideally like to live with someone who has a similar lifestyle — fairly quiet, respectful and comfortable with a relaxed home environment.

This is strictly a short-term let, so I’m looking for someone who is happy with that arrangement and sees it as temporary accommodation rather than a long-term home. It could suit someone who is between properties, working in the area for a short period, relocating, or needs somewhere for a couple of months.

I’d like someone clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces. As I work from home regularly, someone who is also mindful of noise during working hours would be a good fit.

The room is currently occupied and comes furnished with two bedside tables, a chest of 6 drawers and a large mirror.
