You would be sharing with me. I'm Ben - a 38 year old guy relocating to Hove from Hertfordshire. I'm AuDHD, chilled and friendly with a silly sense of humour, and I'm moving to the area to build up a healthier lifestyle, make new friends and build my neurodivergent travel business from home. I'm online a lot, I love alternative music, cooking, tech, travel, video games (mainly a Sonic the Hedgehog fan!) and holistic wellbeing. I'm non-religious, a non-smoker, non-drinker, a meat-eater and gluten-free-ish (not coeliac). Happy to share with social drinkers and vegans who won't try to convert me. :P

I'm generally on the quieter side and keep to myself, but I want the freedom to make the space work for me and support good mental health, after years of feeling unable to truly be myself. I won't be getting up and going out every morning, so my flatmate needs to be ok with different lifestyles and schedules if they work from home in their room. This place has been designed to be a sanctuary, and I want to make it a real home.

I'd love to live with someone a little more on the arty, creative or geeky side, with common interests and really gets what I'm talking about, so we can be great friends and support one another. Although I have a male or male-identifying preference, everyone is considered. 🏳️‍🌈 At a minimum, just be clean, polite, respectful, non-judgemental and not a house-party type, as I'll be to you.

🚭 Strictly no smokers, weed or drug users! The smell gives me a migraine, sorry.

My family will occasionally visit with a small, clean, cuddly, very cute and playful toy poodle, but he won't be living with me permanently, so please be ok with dogs. I would prefer if my flatmate didn't have any pets living with us either, as I really want to keep the place as calm and low maintenance as possible. Thank you.
