Spacious Attic Ensuite in Kemptown. Available now

Hi,
I’m looking for one female or non-binary person to join me in my home in Kemptown, Brighton from September. I’m ideally looking for a short-term stay of around 1-3 months, though happy to discuss shorter stays too. I’m flexible with dates, and there may be the possibility of extending for longer if that works for both of us. The latest possible leaving date would be the end of April.

The Location:
Right by the seafront, on a quiet street close to Kemptown’s independent shops and cafés, just 2 minutes walk from the hospital. Free parking 5 minutes walk away.

The Room:
You’d have your own private floor, with a large, bright and peaceful bedroom, recently refurbished, with a comfy king-size bed, your own ensuite bathroom, and sea views. There's a chest of drawers, a cupboard for hanging clothes and some additional storage available within the room and bathroom, but it would suit someone travelling fairly light, as it’s fully furnished and there’s not additional personal storage elsewhere.

The Space:
It’s extremely spacious, with rooms spread over 4 floors, so there’s plenty of opportunity to have your own space and privacy. There’s a large living room and eat-in kitchen, plus a sunny south-facing roof terrace with sea views, plants and a table and chairs for eating, drinking or reading.

It’s soundproofed and well insulated so it stays pretty cosy in winter. I like to keep the communal spaces clean and tidy, and I’m looking for someone who’s happy to do their share of regular cleaning. Well behaved cats may be considered.

About me:
I’m a friendly, creative woman in my late 30's. I work mostly from home so I’m often around during the day, because of this it would particularly suit someone who usually works or studies away from home during the day. I sing, and love playing music with people and enjoy a good balance of having people over for food or creative projects, and having quiet days to recharge. I’m looking for someone who enjoys a similar balance and is happy with a home that’s sociable at times but generally calm.

Rent & bills:
£925 pcm + £100 monthly contribution towards household bills.
The £100 contribution covers normal household usage, if household utility costs substantially exceed what would normally be expected, the contribution may be reviewed.

References may be requested.
