Double room on the Downs

Hi,
We are looking for a housemate to join us in this lovely house. We moved in a few months ago and are turning it into a home. The house is welcoming, light and well laid out.

We are a friendly couple who like the outdoors and good food. We’ve both lived in house shares before. We are looking for someone will treat the house as a home and care for the space to make it a lovely place to live. Therefore, someone who is tidy, clean and respectful. Ideally we would like someone who does not regularly work from home.

Someone who likes the outdoors will love this place as the garden backs onto the Downs and Southwick beach is not far.

The Room
The spacious double bedroom is on the top floor with views across the garden. There is an upstairs bathroom where you will have sole use of the shower. The room includes a large wardrobe, double bed and mattress. Some further pieces of furniture can be made available.

The House
The house has great light and is on the edge of the Downs with views to the sea. On the ground floor is the living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a large garden that we are working to make beautiful.

Parking & Transport
There is free parking and a bus heading to Churchill Square (and beyond) stops outside the house. We cycle into Brighton a lot of the time. Southwick train station is just 20 mins walk.
