Room to rent in St Leonards On Sea

Hi Everyone! My name is Georgia and I have a lovely large double room available to rent in my home in Hastings from mid August. The room overlooks the garden, is spacious, and is at the back of the house, so its quiet. It’s currently furnished, but I’m happy to offer it unfurnished.

The rent is £650 per month, and this includes all bills, including fast broadband. A deposit of one month’s rent is required. I’m flexible on length of stay, but would ideally love to find someone looking for a longer-term home rather than something very short term.

The house is well located, with two bus stops just a 30-second walk away, offering easy access to the town centre and seafront. There is on-street parking outside, and it’s around a 35-minute walk to Conquest Hospital.

I’m a live-in landlord and you’d be sharing the house with me, my 7-year-old daughter, and our two very friendly cocker spaniels. The dogs are a big part of our home, so someone who genuinely likes and feels comfortable around dogs is essential. This is a relaxed, welcoming family home rather than a party house.

I work in the travel industry and travel fairly often, so at times you would have the house to yourself. When I’m home, I’m friendly and easy-going — I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with friends, and relaxing. I really want the right person to feel at home here and use the house as their own, while being respectful of it as a shared space.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, tidy, considerate and respectful, a non-smoker, and without pets of their own. You’ll be working or have a stable income, and be comfortable sharing a calm, friendly household.
